Maine Golf Center Freeport (formerly Freeport Country Club) is a walkable, player-friendly 9-hole golf course situated along I-295 in Freeport.  It has a beautiful driving range, putting green and short-game area.  The greens are in very good shape and mirror the contour of the landscape. In 2022, Maine Golf leased the course to further its mission.  The mission of Maine Golf is to “strengthen today’s game, launch tomorrow’s and lead the collective effort to grow golf in Maine.”  The vision of MGCF is to offer junior, men and women’s player development programs with an emphasis on growing junior and family golf.
